After weeks of imaginative fundraising and problems with visas and transport, the group of young teachers from Hastings SL is here! They’re teaching in their partner schools all week, and in their free time they’re getting to know Hastings. On Saturday, Kevin took them on a walking tour of the Old Town, with lunch generously provided by Vanessa and the St Clement’s Churtch team. Highlights were the Lifeboat Station and trips up the two cliff railways. On Monday evening, the teachers were initiated into the mysteries of Morris dancing. Photos by Kevin. We’ll try to keep this little ‘diary’ updated.
