The Schools Farm Project gets off to a good start at Edest School

Here are some photos of the children at Edest preparing the ground to plant their seeds brought with the £20 donated by Battle Horticultural Society. Alongside this they have bought tools to help with the maintenance of the project.

Esther, their headteacher, met with other Headteachers and Francis Mason to participate in a workshop, which supported the schools in starting this project.This work builds on the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Zero Hunger, which continues to develop our global citizenship work of empowering our global community to provide sustainable food production.
