It was brilliant in every way! The sun shone, Sussex Brass wowed us with another great programme, and the public were very appreciative. It was such a lovely atmosphere. We raised over £330 towards the Sanitation Project. Not as much as last year in Friary Gardens, but last year’s audience consisted mainly of the Link’s committed supporters, whereas the concert in the Park was an opportunity to tell the general public about the Link’s work. A huge thank-you to Steve Hollamby and the Sussex Brass players, and to the staff at Eat@ the Park Café who put out and collected in 50 deckchairs.
