We had a great Music Quiz on Friday 11th September. Dave Hooper was our question-master, as genial and efficient as ever. It was quite exciting, as three teams vied for the top spot from early on, with The Wannabes discreetly hanging on to their Joker, several positions down the board – only to play it on the last round and surge ahead with 3 clear points. The 78s won the very tricky Picture Round with an amazing 45 out of 48 points.
The evening raised £1000 towards the Links schools projects! The Link’s supporters really are very generous, and we’re very grateful to you all, to the Headteacher and staff at St Paul’s, and to everyone who helped. We got a bit too busy to take brilliant photos, but here’s one, and I’ll add a few more soon..
