You will have heard about the terrible fire in Freetown last week (Wednesday 24th March). We do not know if it has affected anyone in Hastings itself. Link funds are raised specifically to support work in Hastings, so anyone wanting to send a donation for relief work in Freetown should look at organisations that we know are carrying out humanitarian work among the victims of the fire, e.g. UNICEF and Save the Children.
