The Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link is 100% voluntary. Every penny of your donation will be used to support education, health and sustainable livelihoods in Hastings SL. The Link can only continue to help Hastings Sierra Leone with the continued generous support of our Friends.
There are three ways you can support us:
1. Take up or renew your membership of the Link
Membership of the Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link gives you a say in our Annual General Meetings and gives us regular financial support to fund our projects.
Family membership is £20/year, and Individual membership is £10/year. You can set up a direct debit securely online from our Membership page.

2. Give a one-off donation to support our projects
We welcome one-off donations to support our work. We are currently fundraising to:
- improve the water supply (wells or boreholes, water tanks and pumps) and toilets in a dozen schools in Hastings and the immediate area
- support the Link’s work generally, across all our projects
You can donate on our secure donation page using a credit card or PayPal via the Charities Aid Foundation service. We’re asking for a minimum contribution of £5 but we’d be grateful for whatever you can offer to support our work.

3. Help the Link while you search or shop online!
