All on a sudden I found your website and felt tremendously excited. I was in Hastings in 2001-02 as a peace-keeper of Bangladesh Army. Hastings occupies a very important part of my life. I have seen how Sierre Leoneans were struggling hard to overcome the devastation that the war left. I just helped them in getting out of it. I deeply honour the courage, self-respect and indomittable will for a brighter future Sierra Leoneans had. My one year in Hastings shall be a life long memory for me. I often share with my close ones all those goods days I had passed in the camp at Hastings Airport.
I hope you will put some pictures of the scenic beuaty of Hastings and the airport. This will remind me of my days in Hastings.
It would be of my extreme pleasure to see people of Hastings and for that matter people of Sierra Leone progess by everyday.
